Australia’s original resealable canned water

ENJOY being part of the solution towards a cleaner planet

enjoy   - verb    ‘take delight or pleasure in, possess and benefit from’

Enjoy Water has been created as a convenient, highly sustainable alternative to plastic bottled water. Our aluminium cans are 100% recyclable and can be resealed after the initial opening.

It is estimated that around  8 million tonnes of plastic waste end up in our oceans each year with a million plastic bottles bought around the world every minute.

OUR MISSION

To provide a sustainable choice to plastic bottled water and to actively support action and innovation towards sustainable products, packaging and recycling.

NEW INNOVATION

OUR RESEALABLE ALUMINIUM CANS provide the perfect ‘on the go’ solution for pure and natural spring water. Our revolutionary lid resealing mechanism makes your drink available at any time – always fresh, always safe, chills faster, and stays colder for longer.

The resealable lid mechanism only forms a small part of the can so does not affect the aluminium recycling process.

Our resealable aluminium can makes the choice between plastic bottles and cans far easier for consumers and allows us a real opportunity to reduce plastic pollution globally.

Our spring Water

OUR NATURAL SPRING WATER is sourced from a unique catchment area located on an ancient volcano known as Black Hill in Victoria. Rain falling on Black Hill is captured in the volcanic cone and flows through the highly porous layers of volcanic rock, filtering the rain water and adding minute concentrations of vital minerals and electrolytes. This naturally purified water emerges as springs on the lower slopes of the cone well above the surrounding water table, free from any possible contamination.

What's more, our spring water is high in alkaline and contains minerals such as calcium, magnesium and bicarbonate.

We have purposely chosen this region not only for its spring water quality and smooth taste but also for its proximity to our packaging facility. This keeps our transportation footprint to a minimum.

A SUSTAINABLE ALTERNATIVE TO PLASTIC BOTTLED WATER

plastics are a problem

The majority of plastic bottles used across the globe are for drinking water….

  • Plastic pollution is a growing global problem as it kills marine animals, fish, and birds and in turn affects our own food chain.

  • A million plastic bottles are bought around the world every minute and the number will increase a further 20% by 2021, creating an environmental crisis.

  • Fewer than half of the bottles bought in 2016 were collected for recycling and just 7% of those collected were turned into new bottles. Instead most plastic bottles produced end up in landfill or in the ocean.

  • Plastic production is set to double in the next 20 years and quadruple by 2050 so the time to act is now.

  • Plastic bottles contain many chemicals including BPA and phthalates, among others. Chemicals in the plastic can leach into bottled water, especially when exposed to heat or when the bottle is old.

SINGLE USE PLASTICS

EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF PLASTIC MADE STILL EXISTS TODAY

cans are the solution

You can feel good about choosing the can.....

  • Aluminium cans are 100% recyclable and can be recycled over and over again in a true closed loop recycling process without loss of quality or durability. Glass and plastic are typically "down cycled" into other products and eventually end up as waste.

  • Aluminium beverage cans can be recycled, and back in the store in as little as two months.

  • Among the lightest beverage containers and pack tightly so they have a smaller transportation footprint.

  • Cans provide longer shelf life protecting the water from light and air.

  • The aluminium can has the highest recycling rate of any beverage container and contains 70% recycled content on average - more than 3 X that of glass or plastic bottles.

  • The use of recycled aluminium in manufacturing utilises 95% less energy than creating aluminium from raw materials.
